Developer in Chongqing

Hey there!

I am Stig, a Danish programmer living in China for 4 years. I am 36 years old, and married to my Chinese wife Zixin.

I emigrated to Shanghai in 2005, where I worked as freelancer. Around summer 2006 I was offered a job as lead developer on a Japanese web startup, which I have been involved in for the last 2-3 years. I was in charge of developing large scale web applications, hereunder custom ASP solutions for some of the biggest detail chains in Japan totalling 16000 shops.

In january 2009 the project was finished, and I am now back working as a freelancer, plus I work on some private projects.

My wife and me recently moved to Chongqing, where we plan to live for many years.

I have 10 years programming experience, primarely within Java and PHP, but I also have strong skills in html, javascript and more. I easily understand and comprehend any aspect of a project, and I am able to take a project from idea phase to full implementation, either by myself or in collaboration with other developers and participants.
